thats a lot of crap to install...
feeding the wiring harness into the engine bay
harness in the engine bay
laying the wires in the general direction they will go
injector ballast resistors
ignition noise suppressor capacitor
what the hell color is fawn?
apparently fawn = yellow. bah :)
vacuum tees galore
new temp sender so i can run both ECUs simultaneously
while im at it i may as well put in a 180 degree thermostat so scott will stop yelling at me :)
since its a LHD installation, the ECU is much farther from the intake manifold, so i needed longer vacuum lines
fastening ballast resistors
ballast resistors bolted in
ignition-switched 12v comes from the line going to the coils
vacuum tee for Link
180 degree thermostat
2nd temperature sensor installed in place of AC fan switch (5:00 position)
both temp sensors
new temp sensor wired up
wiring up the fuel pump relay
finished fuel pump relay wiring
wiring up the injectors in two batches: 1-3-5, 2-4-6
injectors 1-4 are much easier with the 3000 pipe removed
finished injector wiring
tapping into the CPS signal
finished CPS connector wiring
finished!
its alive! now comes the fun part. making it not run like ass
drilling and tapping hole for the CORRECT temp sensor
however, it interferes with the thermostat
so it cant screw in all the way
final temp sensor install
