The new case - I later realized it's called the Antec Super Lanboy and comes with carrying straps. Now I have to install Unreal Tournament and stop showering.
Coolest feature ever. No longer will I lose all my little screws etc!
Motherboard - MSI 865PE Neo2-P. The box looks like an exciting video game, not a fairly boring piece of computer hardware (though it IS a pretty cool board - SP/DIF digital 6.1 audio out, onboard gigabit ethernet... snort...)
CPU - P4 2.60 GHz, 800MHz FSB
RAM - 512MB PC3200 DDR400 (another 512MB will come later)
Motherboard installed
That's a lot of cooler for such a small chip
Installing the CPU
CPU installed
CPU Heatsink/fan installed
Lots of cooling in a concentrated area
RAM installed
Mounting the HDs to the trays with vibration/noise-absorbing grommets
Drives installed in drive cage (coolest installation system ever)
HD wiring installed
Video card - ATi Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
The card itself (dual VGA out so I can have two monitors like all the cool kids)
Everything installed
I didn't realize the front fan glows blue. Sort of cool, but how do you turn it off at night when you want to sleep?
Also, it has a window. Now I'm obligated to put blue cathodes in there or something. Well I have to look good at all the LAN parties I'll undoubtedly be carrying it to, don't I?
And all this unbelievable graphics performance is piped through a 10-year-old 15" monitor that turns yellow at random
Degeneration. Oh well, red is a cooler color anyway.
Although some things disappear from the screen
